| VUE GROUP We have a slate of movie co-productions, with quality partners who recognize our innovation, our experience and the depth of the creative teams we bring to production. We can bring significant funding to co-production. We understand that digital innovation is radically changing filmmaking and have embraced it. In 2010 Vue Group opened a new animation and visual effects studio in Western Australia’s ‘2nd city’, in a private/ public initiative with the WA government and the City of Bunbury. A creative studio that works in visual effects, animation, live action and design for cinema, television, public exhibition, multiplatform broadcast and transmedia events. Completed works include public art, museum exhibition and the world’s first digital dolphinarium - a hyper-photorealistic animated 360 degree theatre experience for a dolphin research and education centre, and Car Park Whalers - a transmedia event transmitting a webdoco every night of an 8 day archeological mission to find two 1840s US whaling ships that lay beneath a car park. We have companies in the states of Western Australian and Victoria (Melbourne). Our animation studio links to the massive on-site high performance computing capabilities of ISA Technologies, with whom we are 50% owners of the Australian Centre for Digital Innovation. ALAN LINDSAY MANAGING DIRECTOR Alan is managing director of Vue Group. Productions he has directed and written have been awarded at the New York Film Festival, Columbus International Film Festival, ABU and the UNESCO Awards among many others. He has consulted to government, media companies international and state agencies. He is on the board of ScreenWest, the Western Australian screen agency and the ScreenWest Finance Audit Committee. HELEN CLUCAS GENERAL MANAGER Helen is a managing producer who entered television production 24 years ago after a career in education. She has managed teams of more than 200 plus and small teams in difficult, exotic locations. Helen is the author of three books on food and cooking and has a special interest in transmedia series. Additional production experience includes archive and program research and line producing. DAVID RUTHERFORD ANIMATION & VFX SUPERVISOR David has experience in every facet of VFX and CG animation - from practical rigs, props, miniatures, and pyrotechnics, right through to digital effects, FX animation, animation lead, compositing lead, on set supervision, previz and CG effects and CG animation supervision. |
